About Me
Hi there, my name is Kinson Yung!
I was raised in Vancouver for most of my life and had a huge passion for art at a very young age. This insatiable passion would eventually lead me to study fine arts in college and then move on to study at The Art Institute of Vancouver. I'm currently working at a small local mobile game developer, IUGO Mobile Entertainment.
As long as I can remember, I loved drawing. Drawing characters for super epic stories I had made up in my head. As I got older, I started to get more serious into drawing my own characters and stories instead of mimicking styles of artists I admired.
Many of my inspirations growing up were Japanese, hence a lot of my work have a very heavy eastern influence to them. It wasn't until much later that I've noticed more western artists. Ever since then, I've been on a journey to meld both my eastern influences with my newfound western influences.
The journey has just begun. I still have a long way to go, but that's what makes it so fun! :)
